Friends,

The Ohio Weather Band will be making a radio appearance on Kent State University’s Black Squirrel Radio on Monday, April 15th. We will be doing an in-studio performance as well as talking about what’s up with OWB. We will be talking with Andy Jardy on his show, “All I Ever Wanted Was A Radio Show And I Got One” from 7-8pm. You can tune in right here from your computer or smartphone, and you can also watch the show here.

Also, don’t forget about our live performance on the 20th of April at 8pm. We’re going to be playing at Musica in Akron, OH. You can get your tickets here or at the door. Hey Monea!, Stereovox and Most Likely Megan will be performing as well. We’ll have limited edition handcrafted shirts available at this show so be there to snag one! See a list of all our upcoming shows here.

Thanks!

Show Announcements & Update

•April 2, 2013 • Comments Off

Friends,

We have been pretty busy the past couple of weeks. If you follow us on Instagram, you may have seen our prototype OWB shirt. We spent all of one night (careful hands) putting that beauty and one other together. We’re hopefully going to have some of those shirts available at our upcoming shows. You’ll be able to snag one for super cheap. The cool thing about them is that they’re all handmade by the band and no one shirt is like the other. We’re also in the process of getting other merch as well. As for our recordings, we’ll have something to show for it very soon, thanks for your patience. On top of all that, we’ve written some new songs and you’ll be hearing them soon.

Onto shows. First of all we’d like to thank everyone who continues to come out and support us when we play. It’s really cool that you guys are on board with us, and it means a lot. Thank you. We have two shows coming up in the near future. The first is on Friday, April 5th at Muggzwigs in Canton, OH. Corey, Derek and Ray will be doing a stripped-down acoustic set for First Friday. Come get intimate with us. The next show, you won’t wanna miss. It’s on Saturday, April 20th at Musica in Akron, OH. We’re going to be playing with our friends in Hey Monea! and Stereovox. You can get tickets for that show here or at the door. The show starts at 9:00pm SHARP. As always we highly advise you to get there about an hour earlier than the show time. In this case, around 8:00pm as the schedule may run ahead, there may be traffic, you may not be able to park as easily as expected etc. In any case, it’s going to be great and we hope you find the time to come hang and drink some beers with us!

See you soon!
